distinctive and memorable event. FARMbloomington’s recipe for
success begins with chef-owner Daniel Orr. Chef Daniel returned
to his Indiana roots after traveling and working around the
world – beginning in New York, then France and finally the
Caribbean. He has a strong commitment to utilizing local
products and produce in dynamic, innovative, and flavorful
dishes. The menu he will create for your event will reflect your
personal taste and his outstanding culinary expertise.

FARMmarket & café - Seating – 10 to 25 people
This sunny, upbeat café is perfect for those early morning
business or club meetings. The walls display the work of Indiana
artists and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer an appealing view
of the town square. In the evening the vibe becomes warmer,
making it perfect for social gatherings. Breakfast, lunch,
dinner, or flavorful snacks are offered in the Café.
FARMbar - Seating – Cocktail parties from 20 to 40 people
Eclectic, whimsical, retro with a sense of style and just plain
fun. FARMbar offers innovative cocktails, wines from close-by to
around the world, local and artisanal beers. Hoosier tapas, FARM
pies, and chef Daniel’s creative dinner entrees. This is the
place for business after hours, class reunions, victory
celebrations or bar crawls. May we also suggest it as a place to
entertain clients, show a good time to out-of-town guests, or
toast a special occasion. FARMbar is where Bloomington gathers!
The Silo Table -
Seating – 6 people
We must be truthful, this is the most popular table in
Bloomington! Secluded from the main dining room, but still with
a view of the action, the Silo features a prime view of the
kitchen. The Silo is a remarkable location for any intimate
dining occasion.
The Oddfellows Table - Seating – 8 to 10 guests
FARMbloomington once housed the Oddfellows organization, so
this table is a fitting historical tribute. Partitioned from the
Main Dining Room with antique quilts, this semi-private space with a large antique farm table permits the
ambience of the restaurant to quietly drift into the space
without disturbing your event. There are even Oddfellow
ceremonial masks displayed on the wall. Whether you want a
business conversation or a celebration among friends, keep in
mind the Oddfellows Table.
Quiet Room - Seating – Up to 45 people
A warm, inviting atmosphere that celebrates Hoosier farm
heritage. Suitable for small or large gatherings, our private
dining room displays antique farm implements from the Orr family
farm. Whether for business or pleasure, the Quiet Room allows
for an unparalleled, intimate dining experience.

Music, food and friends can collide in swinging speakeasy style
at the Rootcellar Lounge in the lower level of
FARMbloomington. This FARM venue can host a variety events and
parties for those desiring a slightly funky, unique, and
definitely fun atmosphere. The space is creatively decorated
with chef Daniel’s assortment of Americana, including an
extensive beer can collection and a keepsake wine bottle display
commemorating Orr family celebrations. Artist Gretchen Sigmund
has created a mural for one wall with a scene that is no
ordinary picnic!
The Rootcellar has several underground spaces available for
private events: “Wine Cellar,” “Limestone Room,” “Parlor” and
“Case Room.” The entire space may also be rented for larger
cocktail parties and events. And it just cries out for live
music, which the folks at FARM are happy to arrange for you.
Chef Daniel invites you to sneak down the stairs and check out
the scene…you’ll come up with a need to hold a party there in
the very near future!
The Chef’s Apartment - Seating – 8 to 20 people
There are times when you want a very special
venue for a very special occasion. Well, just up the stairs from
FARM with its own private entrance and terrace, may we suggest
the best one we know, Chef Daniel’s own apartment! With the
intimacy that only comes in a home environment, coupled with
fabulous food, your event in the Chef’s Apartment will long be
remembered.
Cooking Classes @ FARM - 6-10 people
Cooking with Chef Daniel is always a special event. Gather a
group and come to FARMbloomington for Dinner and a Show. The
chef will tailor a menu to your liking and theme. Anything from
a Caribbean Castaway Party, a Fresh French Feast or a Seasons on
the Farm menu is available.
Large Special Events
Should FARM’s smaller entertaining venues not perfectly
accommodate your needs, our Main Dining Room is also available for a large private
function. The spacious, open main dining room lends itself to extremely flexible seating with
80 guests at a seated meal or up to 125 for a cocktail
reception. If you desire an even larger event, we would be happy
to include our other private dining rooms. Chef Daniel would be
pleased to create a ‘moveable feast’ featuring various food
stations around the dining room. Live music will be available
upon request.

FARMbloomington will cater small off-site events. You can enjoy
our same great cuisine and service at a venue of your choosing.
