Rootcellar Lounge

Music, food and friends collide in FARMbloomington’s swinging speakeasy downstairs at the Rootcellar Lounge. The space is creatively decorated with chef Daniel’s assortment of Americana, including an extensive beer can collection and a keepsake wine bottle display commemorating Orr family celebrations. Artist Gretchen Sigmund has created a mural for one wall with a scene that is no ordinary picnic! She calls it “Orgy in the Cornfield.”

Private Events:

The Rootcellar has several underground spaces available for private events: “Wine Cellar,” “Limestone Room,” “Parlor” and “Case Room.” The entire space may also be rented for larger cocktail parties and events. And it just cries out for live music, which the folks at FARM are happy to arrange for you. Chef Daniel invites you to sneak down the stairs and check out the scene…you’ll come up with a need to hold a party there in the very near future!

We can also host a variety of private events and parties for those desiring a slightly funky, unique and definitely fun atmosphere all to themselves.
