Hey Cindy, Thanks for reading the blog! You're right, not many people make that much soup! We were hoping to give a recipe for all of the graduation parties out there. We'll include a smaller portion version of this soup a little later in the summer!
Cheers!

FARM is hands-down my favorite Bloomington restaurant, and I'm glad you encourage your customers to take home half for later. That's exactly what I did with a wonderful veggie/hummus wrap the other day and it made two excellent meals instead of one. I just discovered your blog and look forward to reading more.

I have just found ths site and I am intrigued. Twice in the past decade I lost 50# and gained it back plus. But like Chef Orr I am unhappy with how I feel and what is in the mirror. I don't see any entries for the past month. I hope Chef has not given up sharing the fight. Keep it and I will follow you.

I agree and should update the blog to include these foods. I do eat meat and dairy but choose grass-fed and pastured products over industrially raised livestock. Chef D

Love your restaurant and this blog...I read back through all the entries today and just wanted to say I've lost weight following most of the guidelines you're following with 2 differences: animal fats and whole fat dairy. After reading the Weston Price Foundation's website and other info on grass-fed, raw dairy about 7 months ago, I changed my family's diet to include these foods (and cut out white flour, sugar, etc.) with the result that my husband, older son and I lost weight and my youngest son who was underweight gained weight. You might want to check out www.westonaprice.org and realmilk.com to get an alternative viewpoint on these foods.
