Chef-Owner Daniel Orr (Chef D) of FARMbloomington celebrates the life of Robert Burns on Thursday, January 18 with a Burns Supper. A celebration of the poet’s life and work, many people in the UK annually remember his birthday with this type of event.
Join us for the meal to begin at 6:30 pm. Attendees are encouraged to wear kilts and traditional Scottish garb.
The traditions of the meal will be followed. Bagpipers will greet guests as they arrive. To begin the meal, Chef D will read the Selkirk Grace. When the haggis is served, it will be addressed with the ode, as it was the poet’s favorite food.
