Thanksgiving 2019 Menu

Thanks so much for your interest in joining us for Thanksgiving this year!

Reservations over the phone are required, and we have time slots available for:
12pm, 2pm, or 4pm  (max of 8 people)

Take-out orders can be made, but must be ordered a week in advance.

This year's menu includes:


First Course

Butternut Squash and banana bisque with coconut milk

- OR - 

Mixed Greens, toasted pumpkin seeds, capirole goat cheese, apple butter vinaigrette


Main Course

Bourbon-brined roast turkey, cornbread and sage stuffing, truffle scented giblet and mushroom gravy mashed local sweet potato with molasses and hazelnuts, green bean casserole with local bacon and crispy onions, orange and cranberry compote.

- OR - 

Stuffed Turkish Vegetables: stuffed assorted vegetables, herbed tofu dressing, pine nuts, dried fruit, poasted red pepper sauce, and basil oil.


Dessert

Crunchy Pumpkin bars topped with cream cheese frosting, salted caramel and candied pepitas

- OR - 

Chocolate pecan pie bars topped with salted caramel and candied pepitas

- OR - 

Apple Streusel bars topped with salted caramel and candied pepitas

Farm Gourmet Club

Long before there were “Foodies” there were “Gourmet Clubs.” 

They began in the era of James Beard and Julia Child’s “Mastering the Art of French Cooking." Chef D’s parents were in a “Gourmet Club” and that inspired him to become a chef. Unlike the “Gourmet Clubs” of Chef D’s youth, FARM’s Thursday events just require you to make reservations!!!! 

No planning, shopping, cleaning, cooking or even washing any dishes. Just get the gang together, reserve in advance and show up! 

Each month the FARMkitchen share their passion for the cuisines of the world and fun themes that celebrate the moments of our lives.

Evenings may be themed on a single ingredient such as Apples, Asparagus, or Artichokes, or be connected with a movie series, seasonal holidays or a selected adult beverage.  In the past we have done “Haunted Tailgate Halloween,” “Harry Potter” and “Game of Thrones.”  We also also celebrated Indian vegetarian recipes, raw foods, Julia Child’s Birthday and South American Coastal Cuisine. 

We have cooked recipes from the Philippines, Japanese, Russia, Mexico and many other countries. Of course we are always open to listen to our members for additional ideas.

Our "Gourmet Club" usually falls on the 3rd Thursday of the month, but periodically is changed according to specific local events and schedules.
